Malimbu Cliff Villa's website was previously not attracting organic traffic nor any direct bookings. The main issues were:
1) The website was previously optimised with low quality and low search volume keywords
2) Backlinks were from non-authoritative sites and anchor text were irrelevant to the brand/destination which does little help to improving their ranking over time
3) Poor navigation which contributed to high bounce rate and
4) Poor pricing control and lacked promotions which hinder their opportunity to convert visitors into paying customers.
Malimbu Cliff Villa needed a fully optimised website with relevant and quality keywords incorporated into the copy of each page. Due to the higher selling price point compared to other competitors in the market, the villa requires a lead nurturing process in place in order to convince users to book its villa. Hence, cloud-based sales & marketing systems such as Hubspot and Mailchimp were integrated for lead generation and remarketing purposes.
The user experience (UX) was one that supported an intuitive purchasing journey that catered for all the possible ways a user may like to book the villa for their next holiday in Lombok. Therefore, we've also improved the layout to make the book now button more visible and introduced 3 type of packages to target group bookings which is more profitable for the business in the long run.
After we published the website, we continued to provide SEO, social media, content strategy, email marketing, lead generation, strategic partnerships and revenue management service to drive traffic and profitable bookings for the business. In addition, we developed a new brand strategy including new logo and value propositions to strengthen its brand positioning in the Lombok region.
